Mohammad Shahanshah Ansari hails from a much-respected family of freedom fighters and nationalist bureaucrats from District Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. His grandfather, the late Janab Haji Ahmed Ali Ghazipuri, was a Freedom fighter and a staunch supporter of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and an honourable member of the Azad Hind Fauj.

With sharp intellect and deep commitment, Mr. Shahanshah co-founded Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in 2007 with close friends in Mumbai. He has played a key role in driving organizational expansion, shaping policies, and executing high-impact initiatives. He currently serves as Head – General Administration, Member of the AMP Governing Council, President – AMP USA, and Chairman of AMP’s IT Committee. AMP is a registered organization and the largest network of Indian Muslim professionals, with 200+ active chapters across 30+ Indian States and a presence in 20+ countries.

Beyond his impactful contributions to AMP, he is deeply involved in several national and international organisations dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged. He is a Life Member of the AMU Alumni Association of Greater Chicago (AMUAA-GC) and has served multiple terms as Secretary and Chairman of the IT Committee of AMUAA Greater Chicago. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, Dublin, US and previously held the role of President at Toastmasters International in Columbus, USA. Additionally, he is a life member of AMU Old Boys Association, Lucknow. He also co-founded Kamsar O Bar Forum in 2010 for uplifting Muslims from his home town district Ghazipur and serves as a Chief Trustee.

Professionally, Mr. Shahanshah boasts a distinguished career as a Sr. Software Engineer with 2 decades of experience. He graduated with a Master of Computer Application (MCA) from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal in 2006. He has worked with esteemed organisations both in India and abroad, including Saudi Arabian Airlines in Jeddah, Saudi Electricity Company in Dammam, SAP Global Delivery in Bangalore, BHP Billiton in Singapore, Cardinal Health in the USA, among others. Renowned for his expertise in SAP Data Migration, SAP Master Data Governance, and Data Analytics, he currently holds the esteemed position of Sr. Manager at Infosys, Bangalore. He is an avid reader with a strong flair for writing. He is currently writing an e-book titled What Muslims Must Do Now,” subtitled: A clear, practical strategy for dignity, prosperity, and participation scheduled for publication on 28 February 2026.

In essence, Mohammad Shahanshah’s ethos can be summarised by the timeless wisdom of Abraham Lincoln: “I do the very best I know how – the very best I can; and I mean to keep on doing so until the end.”
